Abstract
Günümüz bilgi tabanlı ekonomisinde, bilgi örgütler için çok önemli bir değer olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bilginin oluşturulması, saklanması ve verimli bir şekilde yönetilmesi, başarılı bir örgüt için anahtar faktörlerdendir. Örgütsel hafıza, örgütteki bilgi ve tecrübenin saklandığı ana merkezdir. Bilgi yönetimi, kayıtlı ya da kayıtsız örgüt verilerin ve kişisel bilgi ve tecrübeye dayalı birikimlerin, toplanıp, düzenlenip, kayıt altına alarak tekrar erişimini sağlayıp örgütsel hafıza mekanizmasının sağlıklı çalışmasını sağlamaktadır. Bilgi yönetimi açık bir şekilde örgüt hafızasının sistemli ve verimli bir şekilde depolanmasını sağlamaktadır. Örgütsel hafıza bilgiyi gelecekte kullanmak amacıyla insanlarda ve/veya teknolojilerde gerektiğinde geri çağrılabilir şekilde depolamak için örgüt bünyesinde kurulan bir sistemdir. Bu tezin amacı bilgi yönetimi ile örgütsel hafıza arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda bilgi yönetimi ve örgütsel hafıza kavramları teorik olarak açıklanmış ve aralarındaki ilişki irdelenmiştir. Bilgi yönetimi ile örgütsel hafıza arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak için yapılan diğer çalışmalar referans gösterilerek belirtilmiş ve sonucunda geliştirilecek uygulama ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada amaçlara yönelik bilgi toplamak için nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden anket ve görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler derinlemesine incelenerek bilgi yönetimi ile örgütsel hafıza arasındaki ilişki açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda bilgi yönetimi sayesinde örgütsel hafızanın daha verimli olduğu saptanmıştır. Aynı zamanda örgütte bilgi yönetimi ile birlikte örgütsel hafıza çalışmalarının sonucunda, personelin iş akış süreçlerini daha iyi kavrayacağını ortaya koymuştur.
In today's knowledge based economy, knowledge is of crucial value for organizations. Formation, storage and efficient management of knowledge are the key factors for an organization. Organizational memory is the main center where knowledge and experience is stored. In fact, knowledge management is the place where organizational data as well as personal knowledge and experience, whether recorded or not, is accumulated, arranged and stored and thus enables the mechanism of organizational memory to function properly. Knowledge management clearly allows organization memory to be stored systematically and efficiently. Organizational memory is the system that has been set up within the company to store the knowledge in a way that can be accessed anytime so that this knowledge can be used again in the future. Main objective of this dissertation is to find out the relations between knowledge management and organizational memory. In this respect, the concepts of knowledge management and organizational memory have been explained theoretically and the relations between them have been analyzed. Other researches as regards the relations between knowledge management and organizational memory have been analyzed and referred extensively and we have tried to explain it by the resulting application. Qualitative methods such as questionnaire and interview were used to obtain information of our concern. The information that we obtained were examined carefully and the relationship between knowledge management and organizational memory have been tried to be explained. As a result of our research, it has been determined that organizational memory has become more efficient thanks to knowledge management. It has also been found that if knowledge management of organization continues actively, the staff will be able to apprehend the flow processes of the business.
