Abstract
Bu araştırmada sosyal medya kullanımının duygusal yeme, yeme tutumu ve beden algısı üzerindeki etkisini incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul'da yaşayan 18-45 yaş aralığındaki 416 katılımcı oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların verileri SPSS for Windows 22.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir.

Furthermore, it was observed that emotional eating behaviour showed difference according to demographic factors such as sex, psychiatric diagnosis, weight problems, weight satisfaction, weight change, body definition and night eating; while eating attitude showed difference according to sex, psychiatric diagnosis, weight problems, weight satisfaction and weight definition but did not show difference according to night eating habits, and meal skipping behaviour. Body perception showed difference according to sex, having an accident, night eating habits, regular exercise but did not show difference according to demographic factors such as weight problems, weight satisfaction, and body definition.
