Üniversite öğrencilerinin algılanan anne baba tutumu ve bağlanma stillerinin psikolojik dayanıklılıklarına etkisinin incelenmesi
Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin algılanan anne baba tutumu ve bağlanma stillerinin psikolojik dayanıklılığa etkisini incelemektir. Ek olarak bu değişkenlerin sosyodemografik değişkenlerle de ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Akdeniz Üniversitesi, Okan Üniversitesi, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi ve Lefke Avrupa Üniversite'lerinde öğrenim gören 484 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya bu üniversitelerde öğrenim gören 18-25 yaş arası öğrenciler katılmıştır. Katılımcılara sırasıyla Onam Formu, Sosyo-demografik Bilgi Formu, Anne- Baba Tutum Ölçeği, Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri II, Yetişkinler için Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği verilmiştir. Araştırmada katılımcılardan tutum ölçeği için anne ve babaları için ayrı ayrı değerlendirme yapmaları istenmiştir. Algılanan anne baba tutumu demokratik, otoriter ve koruyucu istekçi olarak üç boyutta değerlendirilmiştir. Bağlanma stilleri ise kaçınmacı ve kaygılı olarak iki boyutta ölçülmüştür. Araştırma verilerinin çözümlenmesinde öncelikle güvenirlik testi sonrasında Korelasyon Analizi, Bağımsız Gruplar T testi, Tek Yönlü Anova ve Çoklu Regresyon Analizi testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; Algılanan demokratik anne baba tutumu ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve pozitif bir ilişki; Otoriter anne baba tutumu ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve negatif bir ilişki; koruyucu-istekçi anne baba tutumu ve psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve negatif bir ilişki olduğu bulgulanmıştır. Kaygılı bağlanma ve psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve negatif bir ilişki; kaçıngan bağlanma ile psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve kuvvetli biçimde negatif bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. The aim of the study is to examine the effect of perceived parental attitude and attachment styles of university students on psychological resilience. In addition the relationship between these variables and certain sociodemographic variables were examined. The sample of the study was consisted of 484 studying at Akdeniz University, Okan University, Dokuz Eylül University and Lefke Avrupa University. Students aged 18-25 years studying at these universities participated in the study. Informed Consent Form, Socio-demographic Information Form, ‗Parental Attitudes Scale', Experiences in Close Relationships, Resilience Scale for Adults were given to participants. In the study, the participants were asked to make separate evaluations for their parents for the attitude scale. Perceived parental style was evaluated in three dimensions as democratic parental attitude, authoritarian attitude and protective - demanding attitude. Attachment styles were evaluated as anxious and avoidant in two dimensions. Analysis of research data reliability testing firstly, After that, Correlation Analysis, Independent Groups T-test, One-Way Anova and Multiple Regression Analysis tests were used. According to the results of the study there was a significant and positive relationship between democratic parental attitude and psychological resilience; there was a significant and negative relationship between authoritarian parental attitude and psychological resilience; Also was found there is a significant and negative relationship between protective-demanding parental attitude and psychological resilience. There is a significant and negative relationship between anxious attachment and psychological resilience; it was found that there is a significant and strongly negative relationship between avoidant attachment and psychological resilience.
