İşletmelerde hile, nedenleri, önlenmesine ilişkin uygulamalar ve örnek olaylar

Abstract

İşletme yöneticilerinin dikkat etmesi gereken konudan biri de işletmenin maruz kalma ihtimali yüksek olan hile konusudur. Günümüzde işletmelere yönelik hile eylemleri önemli bir sorun olarak görülmektedir. Yapılan hileler hem sıklık açısından, hem tutar açısından hem de eylemlerin görülme alanı bakımından teknolojinin de gelişimiyle giderek artmaktadır. Bu eylemlerin kurban işletmeye maliyetleri göz ardı edilemeyecek seviyelerde olabilmekte hatta işletmeyi iflasa kadar götürebilmektedir. Bu iflas sadece hileye maruz kalan işletme ile kalmayıp işletmenin markasını kullanarak satış yapan diğer firmaları da etkilemektedir. Bir hastalığı tedavi etmede olumlu gelişme sağlamak için ilerlemeden teşhis koymanın önemi göz ardı edilemeyecek bir gerçektir. Yukarıda da bahsettiğimiz nedenlerden dolayı işletmelerin hile denetimi konusunda dikkat etmesi gereken önemli nokta, hile eyleminin gerçekleşmeden önce tespit edilmesi ve gereken önlemlerin ivedilikle alınmasıdır. Hile önleme mekanizması sayesinde işletme yöneticileri firmanın maddi ve manevi anlamda bedel ödemesini engelleyebilmektedir. Çünkü hiçbir işletmenin yöneticisi uzun ve yorucu sarf edilen çaba sonucu elde ettiği değerlerini hile eyleminin sebep olduğu bir durumla kaybetmek istemez. Hile eylemi, yapısı gereği işletmelere karşı yapılan bu eylemlerin ne aralıklarda olduğu, büyüklüğünün hangi boyutta olduğu vb. detay bilgi tüm çabalara rağmen istenildiğinde net bilgi olma özelliğini taşımamaktadır. Anlatılan bu nedenlerden dolayı işletmenin ve yöneticilerinin sorumlu olduğu sorun büyümeden ne gibi bir önlem alınması gerektiği, çalışmada detayları ile işlenmiştir. One of the subjects that business managers need to pay attention is the high rish of fraud that their business is under the potential of being exposed. Today, fraud acts are percieved as a major problem for businesses. In terms of frequency, amount and fields of these actions, with the improvements in technology, they are growing to be more serious. The costs of these actions to the victim enterprise may be at levels that can not be ignored and even can cause bankruptcy. This bankruptcy may not only effect the victim enterprise but also it may effect the other enterprises making sales using the brand of the victim enterprise. The importance of early diagnose in treatment of a disease is a fact that can not be ignored. For the reasons above mentioned, the important point for fraud audit in enterprises is to detect it before the action is carried out and to take the required measures for it. With the fraud prevention mechanism, the managers of enterprizes may prevent the enterprize to pay costs in both financial and moral terms. No manager would want to suffer losing the values created after long and tiring efforts to a situation created by the act of fraud. Due to the nature of the acts of fraud, the information such as frequency, amount and level of the acts of faud is not certain information despite all the efforts. The measures to be taken for preventing fraud acts, which are the responsibility of the enterprises and managers for the reasons mentioned, are examined in the study in detail.
