Abstract
Kadınların %51,5'i (n:51) normal %34,3'ü (n:34) hafif şişman iken erkelerin %51'i (n:26) hafif şişman %33,3'ü (n:17) obez olduğu tespit edilmiştir. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 150 healthy adult individuals aged 19-64 who applied to Bahçeşehir Family Health Center and did not have an eating disorder, did not have any chronic disease, pregnancy or lactation, and volunteered to participate in the study. A survey form that questions individuals' sociodemographic characteristics, eating habits, meal patterns, physical activity and anthropometric measurements, the Eating Awareness Scale to measure their eating awareness, the Questionnaire Form Determining Morning Man and Evening Man Types in Human Circadian Rhythm to determine their chronotypes, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (to evaluate their sleep quality). PSQI) scales and survey questions were asked face to face to the individual who volunteered to participate in the study, and the answers were filled in by the responsible researcher. In the findings of the current study, a statistically significant relationship was found between individuals' gender and body mass index classification (p<0.05). While 51.5% (n:51) of women are normal and 34.3% (n:34) are slightly obese, 51% (n:26) of men are slightly obese and 33.3% (n:17) are slightly obese. He was found to be obese. Eating control and conscious nutrition values were found to be higher in women than in men (p<0.05). Conscious nutrition scores showed a statistically significant difference according to people's body mass index classification (p<0.05). Accordingly, it was determined that the conscious nutrition scores of individuals with a body mass index in the slightly overweight category were lower than those in the obese category. A statistically significant relationship was found between individuals' sleep quality index values and impulsivity scores, at a low negative level, and between their eating discipline scores, at a low negative level (r: -0.17, r: -0.19; p < 0.05, respectively). . It is thought that individuals with high eating awareness have better nutritional intake and food consumption status than individuals with low awareness, and weight loss can be achieved by increasing eating awareness in individuals with high body mass index. Key Words: Eating Awareness, Sleep Quality, Circadian Rhythm
