Pediatri hemşirelerinin hemşire-hasta etkileşimlerine yönelik tutum ve davranışları ve çocuk sevme düzeylerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Araştırma pediatri hemşirelerinin hemşire-hasta etkileşimlerine yönelik tutum ve davranışları ve çocuk sevme düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklem büyüklüğü, evrendeki birey sayısı bilinen örneklem hesabına göre belirlenmiş olup 294 pediatri hemşiresi örneklemi oluşturmuştur. Veriler SPSS 21.0 paket programında uygun istatistiksel analizler kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri 'Veri Toplama Formu', 'BOHHEÖ' ve 'BÇSÖ' kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Ölçeğin 'önemlilik, yeterlilik ve uygulanabilirlik' düzeyleri için sırasıyla toplam puan ortalamalarının, 319,93±33,931, 291,01±42,360, 267,29±53,673 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin BOHHE yaş, medeni durum, öğrenim durumu, çalışılan bölüm, çalışma yılı ve çocuk hemşiresi olarak çalışma yılı değişkenlerinin etkilediği belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Hemşirelerin BÇSÖ puan ortalaması 85,80±13,74 olarak belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin çocuk sevme puanlarının çalıştıklarıılan birime göre değiştiği belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Hemşirelerin BÇSÖ ile BOHHEÖ puan ortalamaları arasında pozitif yönde güçlü bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0,000). Sonuç: Bu araştırmanın sonucunda çocuk sevme düzeyi yüksek olan hemşirelerin bakım odaklı hemşire hasta etkileşimini önemli buldukları; tutum ve davranışlarının da olumlu yönde olduğu, bu alanda kendilerini yeterli hissettikleri ve uygulanabilir buldukları saptanmıştır. Aim: The study was designed as descriptive analysis to determine the pediatric nurses' attitudes and behaviors towards nurse-patient interaction and their liking of children. Method: The sample size of the study was created by 294 pediatric nurses, which was determined by the number of individuals in the universe. Data obtained from the study were evaluated by using appropriate statistical analyzes in the SPSS 21.0 packaged software. Data were collected using an 'Information Form', 'CNPIS' and 'BLCS'. Finding: Means for the importance, competence and feasibililty dimensions of the overall scale were, 319,93±33,931, 291,01±42,360 and 267,29±53,673 respectively. Age, marital status, level of education, working unit, term of employment, period of work as a child nurse affected pediatric nurses' attitudes and behaviors towards nurse-patient interaction (p<0,05). Average BLCS score obtained from the nurses was 85,80±13,74. Working unit was found to affect level of pediatric nurses' liking of children (p<0,05). It was determined that there is a strong correlation between the Barnett Liking of Children score and CNPI scores of the nurses (p<0,000). Conclusions: As a result of this research, nurses with higher levels of liking of children were also found to consider the careing nurse-patient interaction important. İn this sense, they modified their attitudes and behaviors positively. They defined themselves competent in term of caring nurse-patient interaction and found it feasible.
