Hemşirelerin liderlik özellikleri ile profesyonel değer algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, İstanbul'daki bir devlet hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin liderlik özellikleri ile profesyonel değer algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla kesitsel tasarımda yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya ilgili devlet hastanesinde çalışan 149 hemşire dahil edildi. Verilerin toplanmasında mesleki ve kişisel bilgiler formu, liderlik yönelimleri ölçeği ve hemşirelerin profesyonel değerleri ölçeğinden oluşan anket formları kullanıldı. Veriler ilgili klinikler ziyaret edilerek toplandı ve IBM SPSS Statistics 23 programına aktarılarak analiz edildi. Çalışma verileri değerlendirilirken kategorik değişkenler için frekans dağılımı (sayı, yüzde), sayısal değişkenler için tanımlayıcı istatistikler (ortalama, standart sapma, minimum, maksimum) kullanıldı. Hemşirelerin liderlik yönelimleri ölçeği skorları ortalaması 124,52±15,16 olarak bulundu. Hemşirelerin kişisel ve mesleki özelliklerine göre yapılan karşılaştırmalarda, liderlik yönelimleri ölçeği puanlarının cinsiyet, eğitim ve gelir durumuna göre değiştiği (p<0,05), çalışma şekline göre değişmediği bulundu (p>0,05). Hemşirelerin profesyonel değerleri ölçeği skorları ortalaması 132,98±14,56 olarak bulundu. Cinsiyet, eğitim durumu ve çalışma şekillerine göre yapılan karşılaştırmalarda hemşirelerin profesyonel değerleri ölçek ve alt boyut puanlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı (p>0,05). Liderlik yönelimleri ölçek ve alt boyutları ile hemşirelerin profesyonel değerleri ölçek ve alt boyut puanları arasında pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede bir ilişki olduğu saptandı (p<0,05). This study was conducted in a cross-sectional design to examine the relationship between leadership characteristics and professional value perceptions of nurses working in a state hospital in İstanbul. 149 nurses working in the relevant state hospital were included in the study. Questionnaires consisting of a professional and personal information form, leadership orientations scale and the professional values of nurses' scale were used to collect data. Data were collected by visiting relevant clinics and analyzed by transferring to IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. While evaluating the study data, frequency distribution (number, percentage) for categorical variables and descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum) for numerical variables were used. The mean scores of the nurses' leadership orientation scale scores were found to be 124,52±15,16. In the comparisons made according to the personal and professional characteristics of the nurses, it was found that the leadership orientation scale scores changed according to the gender, education and income status (p<0,05), but did not change according to the type of work (p>0,05). The mean score of the nurses' professional values scale was found to be 132,98±14,56. No statistically significant difference was found in the professional values, scale and sub-dimension scores of nurses in comparisons made according to gender, educational status and working style (p>0,05). It was determined that there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the scale and sub-dimensions of leadership orientations and the Professional values of nurses' scale and sub-dimension scores (p<0,05).
