The Impact of Micromobility on Human Health

Abstract

Micromobility vehicles have emerged as a rapid and convenient alternative to meet the individual, social, and commercial transportation needs of people, especially those living in large cities. Driven by the perceptions of lower environmental impact, reduced energy consumption, economic benefits, and support for healthy lifestyles, their use is rapidly increasing worldwide. This section examines the direct and indirect impacts of micromobility vehicles on human and public health.
