dc.description.abstract | In recent years with the rapid development of production technologies there has been a remarkable increase in the use of 3D printers. This technology, which is also used in the fields of aviation, defense, art and design, has an important place in dentistry. With many materials used with different methods, patient and dentist comfort is increased and working time is shortened. New production methods; contrary to traditional methods such as plaster model casting and orthodontic treatment with brackets, it has advanced the efficiency and success of treatments and has also enabled many new developments. Photopolymerized resins; in addition to the production of prosthetic base material, obturator, temporary crown-bridge, it is also used in the production of models in the field of dental education. The aim of this review is to provide an overview of the use of light-cured resins in the 3D production process. Also; it is aimed to give information about additive manufacturing technologies, materials used in these technologies, advantages and disadvantages. © 2023, Selcuk University.
