2012 yılında uygulamaya konulan eğitim sistemiyle branş değiştiren sınıf öğretmenlerinin memnuniyet düzeylerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırma, sınıf öğretmenliğinden 2012 yılında branş öğretmenliğine geçen öğretmenler ile sınıf öğretmeni olarak devam eden öğretmenlerin memnuniyet düzeylerini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma nedensel karşılaştırma araştırmasıdır. Araştırmaya 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarında hizmet veren 210 öğretmen katılmıştır. Bu 210 öğretmenin, 105 tanesi branş değişikliği yapan sınıf öğretmenidir. Diğer 105 öğretmen ise bu araştırmaya katkı sağlayan branş değişikliği yapan sınıf öğretmenleriyle aynı demografik özelliklere sahip sınıf öğretmeni olarak çalışmaya devam eden öğretmenlerdir. Araştırma da çalışma grubuna, 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' ve mesleki doyumları saptamak için kullanılan 'İş Doyum Ölçeği' uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, 'Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23' programı kullanılarak Manova ile analiz edilmiştir. Kişisel bilgilerde katılımcıların mezun oldukları okul, meslekteki kıdem, yaş, çalışılan okul türü, öğretmenlik yapılan branş, cinsiyet ve medeni durum bilgileri istenmiştir. Yaş değişkeninin etkisi incelenmiştir. İş doyum ölçeği altı alt boyut içermektedir. Bu alt boyutlarla öğretmenlerin mesleki doyumlarına; mesleki beceriler, yönetim, ücret, okul iklimi, başarı ve saygınlık, veli öğrenci iletişimi boyutlarında ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Okul iklimi ve veli öğrenci iletişimi alt boyutlarında varyanslar homojen olmadığı için okul iklimi ve veli öğrenci iletişimi alt boyutu değerlendirilmeye alınmamıştır. The research was done in order to examine the level of job satisfaction of the teachers passing from classroom teachers into branch teachers in 2012 and the teachers still workings as classroom teachers. The study is a type of casual comparison research. 210 teachers who are working in state schools of the Ministry of National Education in 2015 - 2016 academic year have participated in the research. The first 105 teachers out of 210 teachers are classroom teachers who were branch teachers before. The other 105 teachers who contributed to the study are still working as classroom teachers as well as having the same demographic characteristics with the classroom teachers made branch change. In the research 'Personal Information Form' and 'Job Satisfaction Scale' which is used for determining job satisfaction were applied to the study group. Collected data was analyzed with Manova by using 'Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23. In the personal information part, the information about graduated school, seniority, age, school type, branch , gender and maritual status was asked to the participants. The effect of age variables were examined. The Job Satisfaction Scale consists of six subscales. With these subscales, it is aimed to be able to reach the job satisfaction of teachers via their answers about the professional skillls, administration, salary, school environment, success and prestige, student-parent communication dimensions. Subscales in school environment and parent-student communication have not been taken into consideration because the variances of subscales in school environment and parent-student communication are not homogeneous. Group (classroom teaching and the classroom teachers made branch change) and age variables has not been shown to affect that subscale in professional skills, administration, salary, the success and prestige together.
