COVID-19 salgınına bağlı ölüm sonrası ailelerin yas deneyimleri

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma ülkemiz ve tüm dünyayı etkisine alan COVID-19 salgını nedeniyle hayatını kaybeden bireylerin, birinci derece aile yakınlarının yas deneyimini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma Mart 2021-Ağustos 2021 tarihleri arasında yürütülen nitel bir araştırmadır. itel araştırma y ntemlerinden biri olan olgu bilim enomenolo ik desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın rneklemi belirlenirken ama lı rnekleme y ntemlerinden biri olan l üt rnekleme ntemi kullanılmıştır. rneklemi soruları anlama ve fikirlerini ifade edebilecek yeterlilikte olan kişiler -19 nedeniyle len kişilerin birinci dereceden yakını olan,18 yaşından büyük olan 22 kişi oluşturmuştur. rüşmeler kişiselbilgi ormu ve yarı yapılandırılmış g rüşme ormu kullanılarak bireysel olarakger ekleştirilmiştir. eriler MA A lus rogramı ndan yararlanılarak betimselanaliz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: -19 nedeniyle len kişilerin birinci dereceden yakını olan kişilerin yas süreci ile ilgili ü ana kategori belirlenmiştir. Bu kategoriler: 1- Kayıp ncesi nem (COVID-19 un bulaşması ile birlikte tedavi sürecindeki duygu ve düşüncelerin i adesi) 2- Kayıp aşandığı nem ( -19 sebebi ile kaybın ger ekleşmesi de in işlemleri sırasında hissedilen duygu ve düşünclerin i adesi) 3- Kayıp Sonrası nem (Kaybedilen kişinin yokluğuyla ilgili duygu ve düşüncelerin i adesi) Sonuçlar:COVID-19 nedeniyle 1. derece yakınını kaybetmiş bireylerin yas tepkisi normal d nemde yaşanan kayıplardan sonra yaşanan yasa g re daha yıpratıcı ve şok edicidir. Salgın d neminde yaşanılan kayıpların ani olması ve bu süre te ailelerin sosyal evreden destek alamaması bu d nemi daha kaotik bir hale getirmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler: as Süreci -19 lüm ini ritüelle

Aim: This research was carried out to evaluate the grief experience of first-degree family relatives of individuals who lost their lives due to the COVID-19 epidemic that affected our country and the whole world. Method: This research is a qualitative study conducted between March 2021 and August 2021. Phenomenological design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. While determining the sample of the research, was used 'Criteria Sampling Method' that is one of the purposive sampling methods. Persons capable of understanding sampling questions and expressing their ideas consisted of 22 people aged +18 who were first-degree relatives of people who died due to COVID-19. Interviews were conducted individually, using a personal information form and a semistructured interview form. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique using the MAXQDA Plus Program. Findings: Three main categories have been determined regarding the mourning process of first-degree relatives of people who died due to COVID-19. These categories are: 1- The Period Before the Loss (expression of feelings and thoughts during the treatment process with the transmission of COVID-19), 2- The Period of Loss (the realization of the loss due to COVID-19, the expression of the feelings and thoughts felt during the burial procedures), 3 - Post-Loss Period (expression of feelings and thoughts about the missing person's absence). Conclusion: The mourning reaction of individuals who lost their first-degree relative due to COVID-19 is more wearing and shocking than the mourning experienced after losses in the normal period. The sudden losses experienced during the epidemic and the failure of families to receive support from the social environment during this period made this period more chaotic.
