Lise yöneticilerinin iş doyumu ve stres düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Bu araştırma lise yöneticilerinin iş doyumları ile stres düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma betimsel yönteme ve ilişkisel tarama modeline göre desenlenmiştir. Veriler 2013-2014 öğretim yılında Kocaeli ili genelinde görev yapan 274 lise yöneticisinden toplanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak D. J. Dawis ve arkadaşları (1967) tarafından geliştirilen ve Telman (1988) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan 'Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği' ile Pehlivan (1993) tarafından geliştirilen 'Örgütsel Stres Kaynakları Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmalara göre yöneticilerin iş doyum düzeylerinin 'normal' düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan lise yöneticilerinin iş doyumlarını algılamalarında kıdem, yaş okul türü, öğretmen sayısı değişkenleri anlamlı farklılık oluştururken, cinsiyet, okulun bulunduğu yerleşme yerine göre anlamlı farklılık oluşturmadıkları saptanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan yöneticilerin stres düzeylerini algılamalarında okul türü ve öğretmen sayısı değişkenleri anlamlı farklılık oluştururken, yaş, cinsiyet , kıdem ve okulun bulunduğu yerleşme yeri değişkenlerinin anlamlı farklılık oluşturmadıkları saptanmıştır. Bulgular literatür çerçevesinde yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular ışığında öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

This study aims to identify the relationship between job satisfaction and sources of organizational stress levels of the administrators in high schools. The study is designed on descriptive method and relational research model. The scope of the study consists of 284 administrators of high schools located in Kocaeli in 2013-2014. In this study 'The Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale', developed by D.J. Dawis and his friends (1967) and adapted into Tukish by Telman (1988) and 'Reasons of Organizational Stress Scale' developed by Pehlivan (1993) were used as data collecting tools. According to the research, the level of job satisfaction of the administrators was determined as 'Normal'. While the variables of tenure and title of service cause a significant variance in the perception of the job satisfaction of the administrators, participated in the study, it has come out that the variables in the case of attending in courses, seminars etc related to gender, age, number of teachers, educational management have no significant variances. Findings revealed that the variables in the case of attending courses, seminars etc related to age, title of service, number of teacher, educational management have no significant variances while significant difference was observed in the variables of gender and tenure based on the perception of reasons of organizational stress of the administrators. The findings were analysed within the context of literature. Some suggestions were drawn according to the findings.
