Yetişkin bireylerde sosyal kaygı düzeyi ile üst biliş ve bilinçli farkındalık arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı yetişkin bireylerde sosyal kaygı düzeyi ile üst biliş ve bilinçli farkındalık arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesidir. Araştırma evrenini İstanbul'da yaşayan 20-69 yaş arası, en az okur yazar düzeyindeki bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu, Liebowitz Sosyal Kaygı Ölçeği (LSKÖ), Üsbiliş-30 Ölçeği (ÜBÖ) ve Bilinçli Farkındalık Ölçeği (BFÖ) uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için IBM SPSS 26.0 (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) programı kullanılmıştır. Veri dağılımı normal olduğundan iki bağımsız grup ortalamaları arasındaki karşılaştırmalar için t testi, ikiden fazla olan grup ortalamaları analizinde ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, yetişkin bireylerde sosyal kaygı düzeyleri, üstbiliş ve bilinçli farkındalık skorlarının, araştırmaya dahil edilen bazı demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen korelasyon bulgularına göre, LSKÖ alt boyutlarından kaygı ve kaçınma ile ÜBÖ-30 arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı, pozitif ilişki saptanmıştır. LSKÖ alt boyutlarından kaygı ve kaçınma ile BİFÖ arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. BİFÖ ve ÜBÖ-30 arasında ise pozitif yönlü ve zayıf bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Analizler sonucunda bulgular literatürle karşılaştırılmış ve gelecek araştırmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In this study, it was aimed to research the examination of the relationship between social anxiety, meta cognition and mindfulness in adult inidividuals. The research sample consists of individuals between the ages of 20-69 living in Istanbul, who are at least literate. Socio Demographic Information Form, Social Anxiety Scale, Meta Cognition-30 Scale and Minfulness Scale were used as data collection tools. IBM SPSS 26.0 (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) program was used for the analysis of the data. Since the data distribution was normal, the t-test was used for comparisons between the means of two independent groups, and the One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used for the analysis of group means with more than two. As a result of the research, it was determined that the social anxiety levels, metacognition and mindfulness scores of adult individuals differed significantly according to some demographic variables included in the research. According to the correlation findings, a statistically significant and positive relationship was found between anxiety and avoidance, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale, and the Metacognition Scale-30. No statistically significant relationship was found between anxiety and avoidance, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the Liebowitz social anxiety scale, and the mindfulness scale. A positive and weak relationship was found between the mindfulness scale and the Metacognition-30 scale. As a result of the analyzes, the findings were discussed with the literature review and suggestions for future research were presented. Keywords: Social Anxiety, Metacognition, Mindfulness
