Abstract
Günümüzde hemen her gün dünyanın birçok yerinde afetler meydana gelmektedir. Nowadays, disasters occur almost every day in many parts of the world. Since disasters with a major impact, such as earthquakes, do not occur very often, what should be done against disasters? It is an overlooked issue that we are extremely prepared. The best way to combat disasters The effective way is to take precautions before a disaster occurs and these measures It was observed that the society would then reduce its losses. Health services in disasters Disaster preparedness and disaster preparedness of healthcare workers, who constitute the largest group Their active role in participation in the management of society is to ensure continued health and well-being. It is one of the most important resources of the society with the qualified care it provides. In this research, physicians and nurses working in the emergency department respond to disasters and emergencies. The aim is to determine their readiness. In a City Hospital Emergency Department 140 working healthcare workers were reached. Introductory features as a data collection tool Demographic form containing, Health Personnel Preparedness for Disaster and Emergency Situations A situational survey form was used. Analysis of data IBM SPSS Statistics 23 It was evaluated using appropriate statistical methods in the program. In research In two group comparisons for the total and sub-dimension scores of the scale used Independent Sample T Test is One-Way in comparisons of more than two groups. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) analysis was used. The distribution of the data obtained is normal When comparing groups of independent variables when there is no distribution, two groups While Mann Whitney U test is used for three groups or more, Kruskal Wallis test was used. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, a Ministry of Health Physicians and nurses working in the City Hospital emergency department are required to respond to disasters and emergencies. The average preparation score was determined as 50.95±12.79. Disasters and emergencies Their preparations were determined to be at an intermediate level. In preparation for disasters and emergencies There is no significant difference between education level, marital status and years of working in the profession. It was determined that it did not create . gender, professional group, receiving disaster-related training, disaster participation in drills and previous exposure to disasters in readiness It was determined that there was a significant difference.
