Eğitim işletmelerinde maliyet muhasebesi ve bir uygulama

Abstract

Eğitim; insan hayatını şekillendiren, yön veren bir süreçtir. Eğitimin insan yaşamı boyunca olmazsa olmaz bir yeri vardır. Fakat ülkemizde Avrupa ülkelerine kıyasla istenilen seviyeye ulaşamamıştır. Bir bireyin gelişmesi yönünde bu denli etkili ve önemli bir yere sahip olan bu sürecin, ülkemizde de yeterli değeri görmesi gerekmektedir. Eğitim işletmelerinin, istenilen seviyede topluma hizmet verebilmesi için hem devlet tarafından desteklenmesi hem de kendi bünyesinde devamlılığını sağlayacak stratejiler belirleyip, bu stratejileri uygulamaları ön görülmektedir. İşte bu bilgiler ışığında yapılmış olan bu çalışmada eğitim işletmelerinin gerçekleştirdiği faaliyet süreçlerinin, yapılan araştırmalarla ve akademik süreçte mevcut olan bilgiler eşliğinde maliyetleri açıklanılmış bulunulmaktadır. Muhasebe terimine ve maliyet muhasebesinin temel ve modern yaklaşımlarına değinilmiştir. Eğitim işletmelerinin uygulamadaki çalışma faaliyetleri ve bu faaliyetleri gerçekleştirirken hangi maliyet muhasebesi yöntemini kullandıklarını, maliyet muhasebesinin işletme içinde ne kadar zor uygulandığı ama uygulanmasındaki önem ve gerekliliğin gösterilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise, bir kolej ile yapılan röportaj sonrasında yapmış olduğu faaliyetler ve gider kalemlerini kullanarak maliyet muhasebesinden basit dağıtım ve I. dağıtım yöntemleri uygulanmış olup, elde edilen maliyet sonucuna göre kolejin fiyatlandırma politikalarında ne kadar doğru kararlar alıp uyguladıkları gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.
