Trans bireylerde varoluşsal öfke ve yaşam projeleri arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Çalışmada Kocaeli Üniversitesi Hastanesi Cinsiyet Hoşnutsuzluğu Biriminde takip edilen cinsiyet geçiş sürecine girmiş trans bireylerdeki varoluşsal öfke ile yaşam projeleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmamızda 13'ü trans kadın, 22'si trans erkek olan 34 birey değerlendirilmiştir. Bireylerle sosyodemografik veriler, Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ve Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği sonuçları incelenmiştir. Katılımcıların Varoluşsal Öfke düzeylerinin düşük, Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği puan ortalamasının yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ile Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ile Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği Umut alt boyutu arasında negatif yönde orta düzeyde korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ile Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği Pişmanlık alt boyutu arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ile Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği Aktivasyon alt boyutu arasında negatif yönde orta düzeyde korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Varoluşsal Öfke Ölçeği ile Yaşam Projesi Ölçeği Hiçlik alt boyutu arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0,01). Varoluşsal Öfke düzeylerinin düşmesi Yaşam projelerinin daha iyi olmasını sağladığı görülmektedir. Ruh sağlığı alanında çalışan hemşireler olarak sağlığı geliştirmek ve hastalıkları önlemek için faaliyetlerde bulunurken kişilerin cinsiyetine, cinsel çeşitliliğine ve diğer özelliklerine saygılı olarak bakım sunmanın bireylerin yaşadıkları stresin, öfkenin, ayrımcılığın, anksiyetenin ve birçok olumsuz durumun önüne geçilebileceği görülmektedir. In the study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between existential anger and life projects in transgender individuals who were followed in the Gender Discontent Unit of Kocaeli University Hospital. In our study, 34 individuals, 13 of whom were trans women and 22 of whom were trans men, were evaluated. Sociodemographic data, Existential Anger Scale and Life Project Scale results were analyzed with individuals. It was found that the existential anger levels of the participants were low and the Life Project Scale average score was high. A high level of negative correlation was found between the Existential Anger Scale and the Life Project Scale (p<0.01). There was a moderate negative correlation between the Existential Anger Scale and the Life Project Scale Hope sub-dimension (p<0.05). A high level of negative correlation was found between the Existential Anger Scale and the Regret sub-dimension of the Life Project Scale (p<0.01). There was a moderate negative correlation between the Existential Anger Scale and the Life Project Scale Activation sub-dimension (p<0.01). A high level of negative correlation was found between the Existential Anger Scale and the Life Project Scale Nothingness sub-dimension (p<0.01). It is seen that the decrease in existential anger levels makes life projects better. As nurses working in the field of mental health, it is seen that the stress, anger, discrimination, anxiety and many negative situations experienced by individuals can be prevented by providing care with respect to the gender, sexual diversity and other characteristics of individuals while carrying out activities to improve health and prevent diseases.
